Rajat Dalal and Cab Driver Dispute

Social media influencer and YouTuber Rajat Dalal is once again in the spotlight, but this time due to a dispute with a cab driver. Rajat recently shared a video on his Instagram story, claiming that a cab driver verbally abused him after he asked him to drive faster. The incident has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussion.

In the video, Rajat stated that he was in a cab while the driver was talking on the phone and driving at just 30 km/h. When Rajat requested him to speed up, the driver ignored him and instead started misbehaving. Rajat said in the video, “I was running late for the airport, and he was driving at 30 km/h. When I asked him to go faster, he started abusing me and even threatened to beat me up.”

The video clearly shows the driver using foul language towards Rajat and demanding ₹167 as fare. Rajat is seen responding, “I’m not going anywhere until I pay you your money.” He shared this incident on his social media handle, documenting the entire altercation.

This is not the first time Rajat Dalal has been involved in controversies. In 2024, he faced backlash after his car hit a motorcyclist in Faridabad. He was accused of reckless driving, and the Faridabad police registered a case against him. According to a News18 report, Rajat later surrendered at the Sarai Khwaja police station, and steps were taken to cancel his driving license.

In 2023, another controversy erupted when Rajat allegedly held three people captive in his Delhi residence, accusing them of being fake monks. He even broadcasted the incident live on Instagram. According to a Free Press Journal report, Rajat claimed they were fraudsters.

The new video has sparked a debate on social media. Some people support Rajat, arguing that the driver should have behaved professionally and refrained from using abusive language. Others criticize Rajat, pointing out his history of controversies and saying he has no right to question others. One user commented, “Rajat should improve himself first before advising others on how to drive.”

In the video, Rajat also shared a WhatsApp link, asking people to join for updates on the incident. He further claimed that he gave the cab driver some “treatment” and promised to share a video of it in the WhatsApp group.

This incident has once again put Rajat Dalal in the limelight, raising questions about whether his complaint is genuine or just another publicity stunt.
