Manchester, July 24, 2025 – The Indian cricket team faces a challenge in the ongoing fourth Test match against England in Manchester after wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant suffered an injury to his right foot on Day 1. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed today that Pant will not keep wickets for the rest of the match. The injury happened when Pant, batting at 37, attempted a reverse sweep and the ball hit his boot, forcing him to leave the field on a golf cart.
