Football superstar David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham’s marriage is once again in the spotlight. Their former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, has made a sensational revelation. Rebecca claims that 20 years ago, while David was married to Victoria, he had a four-month-long extramarital affair with her. This revelation has created a stir among the Beckham family and their fans.
Rebecca Loos, a former Dutch model who started working as David Beckham’s personal assistant in 2003, shared her side of the story in an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes. She said, “I have always spoken the truth. I have never exaggerated or lied.” Her voice carried a sense of determination, yet her eyes reflected traces of old pain. Rebecca revealed that speaking out against a powerful and globally famous figure like Beckham was not easy for her. “I believe it took a lot of courage. I stood against a couple with the best PR team and immense wealth. All I had was my truth,” she said emotionally.
Rebecca further explained that it all began when David moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2003. She started working with him, but in 2004, she lost her job. That same year, she publicly disclosed their alleged affair for the first time. At that time, David had outright denied the accusations, saying, “Over the past few months, many ridiculous stories have surfaced about my personal life. The news that came out this morning is just another example.” His words carried both anger and an attempt at justification.
Meanwhile, Victoria recently spoke about that difficult phase in their marriage in a documentary series. She said, “At that time, it felt like the whole world was against us.” Her voice carried pain and helplessness, though she did not mention Rebecca or anyone else by name. David and Victoria, who have been married since 1999 and share three children, described that period as the darkest time of their lives.
Today, Rebecca is married to a doctor and is a mother of two. However, she insists that she could not live by hiding the truth. “I spoke up against powerful people like Beckham because, for me, telling the truth was essential,” she said.
