A tragic accident took place late Sunday night in Noida, where a Lamborghini owned by popular YouTuber Mridul Tiwari ran over two laborers walking on the footpath. Both victims sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed to the hospital. The police have arrested the car’s driver, Deepak, and seized the vehicle. The incident occurred near an under-construction building in Sector 94, once again raising concerns about reckless driving and road safety.
Mridul Tiwari’s Lamborghini Runs Over Two Laborers on Footpath
youtuber Mridul Tiwari’s Lamborghini registered in Puducherry. Eyewitnesses reported that the car was moving so fast that the driver, Deepak, lost control and hit two laborers walking on the footpath. The injured victims have been identified as Dijen Ravidas and Rambhu Kumar from Chhattisgarh. Both were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable. However, they have suffered fractures in their legs and severe facial injuries.
A video from the scene has gone viral on social media, showing driver Deepak stepping out of the car and asking locals, “Is anyone dead here?” This remark has sparked outrage, as it reflected his lack of concern and insensitivity. The furious crowd immediately called the police, after which a team from Sector-126 Police Station arrived at the scene and took Deepak into custody.
Who is Car Owner YouTuber Mridul Tiwari?
Investigations have revealed that the Lamborghini belongs to Mridul Tiwari, a well-known YouTuber from Greater Noida. At just 21 years old, Mridul has built a massive online following. He started his YouTube career in October 2018 and quickly gained 10 million subscribers. By March 2020, his channel had crossed the one million mark, earning him YouTube’s Silver and Gold Play Buttons. Recently, he was also featured in YouTube’s Top 10 Indian Creators list. Mridul’s popularity extends beyond YouTube—he has 3.5 million followers on Facebook and over 536K followers on Instagram.
According to the police, Mridul was not in the car at the time of the accident. The driver, Deepak, a resident of Ajmer, Rajasthan, was reportedly taking the car for a test drive. Deepak claimed that the accident happened due to a technical fault in the car, but eyewitnesses and the injured victims insist that overspeeding was the real cause. The police conducted a medical test on Deepak, confirming that he was not under the influence of alcohol.
Injured Victims Say, “The Car Was Too Fast”
One of the injured laborers, Dijen Ravidas, shared his ordeal from the hospital: “The car was moving too fast. It crushed my leg, and I suffered facial injuries. We couldn’t even react in time.” The two laborers were walking on the footpath when the accident occurred. This incident has once again raised serious concerns about road safety and reckless driving.
Following the accident, people have taken to social media to express their outrage. Many have compared this incident to the infamous 2024 Porsche accident in Pune, where a wealthy minor ran over two engineers. In that case, the accused was given a mere essay-writing punishment, which led to widespread public anger.
