In this sacred gathering, one of the monks is going viral due to his spiritual presence and formal education. The spiritual monk, also known as IITian Baba, is named Abhey Singh. During the news coverage of Kumbh Mela, Abhey Singh, who is known as IITian Baba, went viral on social media because of his education from IIT Bombay.
During the interview with the news media, he said he had studied aerospace engineering at IIT Bombay, India’s top engineering college. After this statement, Abhey Singh, aka IITian Baba, went viral on social media because IIT Bombay is the top-rated college in India, and most people don’t even get admission there. For admission to this college, students have to crack the IIT exam, known as JEE and JEE Advanced. It is the hardest exam in India, and even if students crack it, they have to rank in the top 100 to get admission to IIT Bombay.
According to him, he came to this spiritual path because he wanted to understand the importance of spirituality in Hinduism. He wanted to know the truth and meaning of life, which is why he chose the path of a spiritual monk.
IITian Baba used to earn Rs 3 lakh per month in Canada.
In an interview with other news media, Abhey Singh claimed that he lived in Canada for three years, earning ₹3 lakh per month or ₹36 lakh per annum. According to him, he worked as a Digital/UI Designer at Canadian Tire from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, he joined Elite Digital, where he focused on designing mid-fidelity wireframes for web pages. His role in the company was to create layouts for websites that are crucial for their development.
During the interview, Abhey Singh also shared that while pursuing his career in Canada, he struggled with depression. In those 3 or 4 years, he also dealt with trauma and distress. During that period, he wanted to understand the meaning of life and what is true. He used to question life and wanted to know its truth.
Abhey Singh aka IITian Baba’s Past Life
Abhey Singh completed his aerospace engineering at IIT Bombay from 2008 to 2012. He also has a Master’s degree in Design and Visual Communications from IIT Bombay. After his education, he worked with many companies. He worked in Canada for 3 years, where he earned ₹3 lakh per month.
According to him, during his college period, he had a girlfriend he dated for 4 years. But during his path to finding the true meaning of life, he didn’t know what to do with his relationship, so they parted ways. He also mentioned that he has no faith in marriage because his parents, mother and father, always used to fight with each other.
