India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to visit Beijing to revive ties

After the India China clash in 1962, the relationship between India and China is not good after this clash India is not ready to trust on China. Both countries has decided to make good relationship but India is not ready to trust on China but since 1980s, both countries have successfully rebuilt diplomatic.

In the year 2020 the military clash between these country makes strained relations. But now it is seen that both countries are ready to revive their ties following talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the brics summit in Russia.

Recently the NSA Ajit Doval travelled to Beijing and held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi under the framework of Special Representatives (SR) dialogue on the boundary dispute.

Now the India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will visit Beijing on Jan. 26-27 to discuss steps to boost ties with China, as the Asian neighbours revive relations that were strained since a deadly military clash on their disputed frontier in 2020.

On Thursday India’s foreign ministry made a statement on India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to visit Beijing that

flows from the agreement at the leadership level to discuss the next steps for India-China relations, including in the political, economic, and people-to-people domains”.

2020 military Clash Impact on Relationship of both Countries.

After the military clash in year 2020 in the Galwan valley in the Indian territory of Ladakh, the relation between India and China become strain. In India, the China boycott sentiments was seen. the people of India boycotting Chinese product as well as their services.

The conflict sparked military and diplomatic tension between India and China. As a response of clash India slowed visa approvals for Chinese nationals, banned Chinese popular mobile apps like tik tok as well as over 200 hundreds apps and tightened scrutiny of investments from China.
