Some Economist suggest that if United state is going to imposed tariff on Indian product than it will affect India as well India, united state relationship because India is a strategic partner of the United States in its efforts to counter China.
The Reuters has reported that due to this Indian and U.S. diplomats are trying to arrange a meeting of Modi and Trump.

According to Reuters, Indian and U.S. diplomats are trying to arrange a meeting in the month of February between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.
the Indian diplomats are trying to arrange a meeting of Modi with President of United State, Donald Trump because of president agenda on tariff application on countries like India. During the election of United State the President Donald Trump has told that he will impose tariff on a country like India because India impose much more tariff to Indian product.
Reuters also confirmed that India was willing to offer some concessions to Washington.

The agenda of the Meeting
According to the Reuters the main agenda of the meeting between two leaders Narendra Modi and Donald Trump is to improve trade between India and United State to make counter of country China as well as, Visas for the Indian skilled workers.
These two also going to discuss on enhancing partnership in technology and defence sectors.
Migration would be another area of discussion, as Trump has pledged a crackdown on illegal immigration but has said he is open to legal migration of skilled workers.
The United States is India’s largest trading partner and two-way trade between the two countries surpassed $118 billion in 2023/24, with India posting a trade surplus of $32 billion.
