Bihar Staff Selection Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Statistical Officer (SSO) / Block Statistical Officer (BSO) posts in Bihar. Through this recruitment, these positions will be filled in various blocks across Bihar.
According to the notification issued by the department, interested candidates can apply for these posts from April 1, 2025. The last date to apply is April 21, 2025. After this date, candidates will not be able to apply. Those who wish to apply must visit the official website https://www.onlinebssc.com/ before the deadline and complete the online application process, including paying the application fee.
BSSC SSO/BSO Vacancy 2025
BSSC has announced 682 vacancies for SSO/BSO recruitment. On March 11, 2025, a notification with complete details was published on the department’s official website bssc.bihar.gov.in. Candidates applying for these positions must be at least 21 years old as of August 1, 2024, and the maximum age limit is 37 years.
Candidates should apply before April 19, 2025, as this is the last date to pay the application fee. The final date to submit the application form is April 21, 2025.
Educational Qualification for Application
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics from a recognized university. Reservation benefits will be available only to students who are permanent residents of Bihar.
