The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the determination of eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges.
UGC NET December 2023
The UGC NET has started its online registration process and it will now remain available till 31st October 2023 (11:59 pm). The eligible candidates who want to secure their career as an Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) can apply for the UGC NET Dec 2023.
The UGC NET December 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 6-22, 2023. The online application process for the exam will start on September 30, 2023 and will end on October 31, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET December 2023 Exam
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For JRF, candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- For Assistant Professor, candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.

To apply online for the UGC NET December 2023 exam, candidates must follow these steps:

- Click on the “Apply Online” link on the homepage.
- A new page will open where candidates can create a new account or login to their existing account.
- After login, candidates will need to fill in the online application form.
- Candidates will need to upload the required documents, such as their scanned photograph and signature, and their educational certificates.
- Candidates will need to pay the application fee using the available methods.
- After submitting the application form, candidates will receive a confirmation email.
