The head of Parliaments standing committee on communication and information , BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, has said this over controversial statement made by CEO of Meta and the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg. According to the head of Parliaments standing committee, Nishikant Dubey the the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has tarnished India’s image by spreading incorrect information regarding the country’s 2024 general elections.

Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s co-founder are top 10 most influenced people in the world and have controlling stakeholder in Meta, the parents company of Facebook has made a statement over general election 2024 that the India’s ruling party (which is BJP) has lost the General Elections 2024 due to mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There is some sort of global phenomena, whether it was inflation because of the economic policies to deal with Covid or just how the governments dealt with Covid, seems to have this effect that is global, not just the U.S., but like a very broad decrease in trust, at least in the set incumbents and maybe, in sort of these democratic institutions overall,”

Incorrect information about any democratic country tarnishes its image. This organisation will have to apologise to the Indian Parliament and the people here for this mistake.
