The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the determination of eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges.

The UGC NET December 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 6-22, 2023. The online application process for the exam will start on September 30, 2023 and will end on October 31, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET December 2023 Exam

  • Candidates must have a Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • For JRF, candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • For Assistant Professor, candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.
